What is a Starter Kit?

Different types of starter kits

What is a Disposable Vape?

A disposable vape, or disposable e‑cigarettes, is a type of e‑cigarette that is designed to be used once and then discarded. They come packaged with a pre‑set amount of nicotine e‑juice and a pre‑installed battery. When you have used up all the e‑juice in the device or the battery runs out, the whole device is thrown away. You do not need to worry about recharging the battery or refilling with more e‑juice, which makes them convenient for use on the go.

For beginners

As a beginner it may be appropriate to choose an "all-in-one starter kit" or a pod starter kit. These starter kits are usually easy to use and do not require much knowledge about vaping. They also usually have a smaller and more discreet design that may be more suitable for you who have just started vaping.

Batteries

In short, there are two different “types” of batteries when it comes to e-cigarettes. Some, more powerful e‑cigs, require an external battery. These most often come in sizes 18650, 26650, 20700 & 21700.

E-cigarettes that are slightly less advanced and require a bit less power have a built‑in battery that charges via USB‑C.

There is also a combination of these two, i.e., an e‑cig that supports both an external battery and an internal one (charged via USB‑C).

Which battery should I have for my e‑cig?

The choice of battery for your e‑cigarette depends on several factors, including the type of e‑cigarette you have and your personal preferences. Before purchasing a battery for your e‑cigarette, it is important to check which type of battery fits your device. Most e‑cigarette batteries use lithium‑ion cells and are available in various sizes and capacities.

What battery types are available?

A common size for e‑cigarette batteries is 18650, but there are also other common sizes such as 21700 and 26650. The size and capacity of the battery affect how long it will last between charges. If you want longer battery life you can choose a battery with higher capacity.

What is AMP?

Amp stands for ampere and is a unit of electric current. In relation to e‑cigarette batteries and vaping, amperes are often used to describe the battery’s “maximum continuous discharge current”, which indicates how much current the battery can deliver without overheating or being damaged. This is important to consider when choosing a battery and when building your own coils on an e‑cigarette.

What is Watt?

Watt is a unit of power used in electricity and electronics. In vaping, watt is used to describe how much power is delivered from the e‑cigarette’s battery to the heating element in the tank. The higher the wattage, the more vapor and flavor will be produced.

When vaping, you can adjust the wattage to tailor the experience. If you use a sub‑ohm tank with low resistance, higher wattage is usually required to achieve the desired amount of vapor. If you use a tank with higher resistance, you may need lower wattage to avoid burning the coil and to achieve optimal flavor and vapor.

Some e‑cigarette models have automatic watt adjustment that automatically adapts the power to the tank’s resistance, while other models require manual adjustment of the wattage.

Battery safety

Battery safety is an important factor to consider when handling e‑cigs. Since some e‑cigarette batteries are rechargeable and are used close to the user, they can cause serious injury if not handled properly. To avoid hazards such as overheating, explosion or fire, one should always use batteries that are of high quality and from reliable manufacturers.

Other ways to ensure battery safety include avoiding overcharging and over‑stress by only using recommended chargers and charging cables. It is also important to store batteries safely, Use some of our battery cases, to avoid short‑circuiting or damage to the battery.

If you notice any signs of damage or wear on the battery, such as cracks, dents or leakage, you should stop using the battery immediately and replace it with a new one. By following these guidelines, one can ensure a safe and trouble‑free vaping experience.

Battery wraps

A battery wrap (battery case) is a thin, plastic‑coated film that covers an e‑cigarette battery. Battery wraps are important for battery safety because they protect the battery from short‑circuiting and other damage that can occur if the battery comes into contact with other metal objects or if the plastic coating is damaged.

When the battery’s original wrap becomes damaged, cracked or worn, it can expose the battery to danger. Having an intact battery wrap is therefore essential to ensure the battery is safe to use.

What is an e-liquid?

An e-liquid, also called e-juice, is the liquid used in e-cigarettes to produce vapor. The e-liquid consists of a mixture of propylene glycol (PG), vegetable glycerin (VG), flavors and sometimes nicotine.

The e-liquid comes in many different flavors, ranging from fruity and sweet flavors to more classic tobacco flavors. There are also a variety of nicotine strengths to choose from, from nicotine-free to high strength.

The e-liquid works by being heated and turned into vapor when the user draws on the e-cigarette.

What flavors of e-liquids are there?

There are incredibly many different flavors in e-liquids to choose from. Here are the most common:

Tobacco flavors: For those who want a more traditional tobacco taste there are many different options to choose from. From mild, sweet flavors to more robust and spicy, tobacco flavors can help recreate the feeling of smoking a traditional cigarette.

What is a shortfill?

Shortfill are e-liquids that come in a larger bottle size than regular e-liquids, often between 50 ml and 120 ml. However, unlike regular e-liquids, shortfills come without nicotine.

Shortfills come in various sizes to suit different needs and preferences. The most common sizes for shortfills are 50 ml, 60 ml, 100 ml and 120 ml.

50 ml and 60 ml shortfills are the most popular. 100 ml and 120 ml shortfills are better for those who want a larger amount of e-liquid of their favorite flavor so that it simply lasts longer

What is the TPD law?

The TPD law, or Tobacco Products Directive, is legislation introduced by the European Union to regulate the sale of tobacco products and e-cigarettes.

One of the most important parts of the TPD law concerns e-cigarettes and e-liquids. The law requires that all e-cigarettes and e-liquids sold in the EU must meet certain requirements to be safe to use and reduce the risks of health problems.

Shortfills are a type of e-liquid that can be seen as a way to circumvent the TPD law, but it is important to understand that shortfills themselves do not violate the law. The TPD law only regulates the sale of e-liquids that contain nicotine, while shortfills are sold without nicotine and are not subject to the same restrictions.

How do I add nicotine to my shortfill?

Adding nicotine to a shortfill is a relatively simple process. First and foremost you should ensure that your shortfill is large enough to hold both the e-liquid and the nicotine shots.

When you are ready to add nicotine, open the bottle with your shortfill and pour in the nicotine shots. It is important to follow the instructions for the specific nicotine shots and not to add too much nicotine, as this can lead to health problems.

After you have added nicotine, you should shake the bottle thoroughly to ensure that the e-liquid and nicotine shots are well mixed. What is a longfill?

A longfill is a type of e-liquid designed to make it easy to mix your own e-liquid at home. Longfills come in a larger bottle that contains a high concentration of flavorings, but lack base liquid & nicotine. Users can then add base liquid and nicotine to create a finished e-liquid.

Longfills offer a great advantage for users who want to mix their own e-liquid, as they make it easier to achieve a desired flavor combination using base liquid and adjust the nicotine strength. Additionally, users save money by buying larger quantities of flavorings and nicotine separately, instead of buying pre-mixed e-liquids.

A tank is an important component in a vaping device and can have a large impact on the vaping experience. Different types of tanks

• RDAs with squonk mechanism - these are RDA tanks with a squonk mechanism, which allows the user to drop e‑liquid directly onto the coil and wick through a bottle that is integrated into the vaping device.
• Ceramic coil tanks - these tanks use ceramic coil elements instead of traditional metal wires, providing a cleaner flavor and longer coil lifespan.

What are coils?

A coil, is a part of an e‑cigarette’s tank that is used to heat the e‑liquid and turn it into vapor. The coil consists of a thin wire, usually metal which can be stainless steel, nichrome, or kanthal, that is wound around a cotton roll.

When the e‑cigarette is activated, an electric current is sent through the wire in the coil, which heats the wire and the cotton which in turn vaporizes the e‑liquid. Because coils can wear out and become dirty over time, they need to be replaced regularly to maintain optimal performance in the e‑cigarette. E‑cigarettes in our range are available with replaceable coils and those that have built-in coils.

Which coil should I choose?

Which type of coil you should choose depends on several factors, including your personal preference, e‑cigarette and which e‑liquid you use. Here are some things to consider when choosing a coil:

• Vapor production: If you want large vapor clouds, you should choose a coil designed to produce a lot of vapor, such as a double‑ or triple‑wire coil or a mesh coil.

What is a single‑wire coil?

What is a mesh coil?

A mesh coil is a type of coil used in e‑cigarettes. It consists of a fine‑mesh metal plate that is shaped like a cylinder and is rolled around a cotton roll. Mesh coils provide a more even heating of the cotton, which gives a more intense and cleaner flavor profile compared to traditional wire coils.

Mesh coils also produce more vapor and have a longer lifespan than traditional wire coils. Mesh coils are available in various sizes and resistances to suit different e‑cigarette models and personal preferences. Mesh coils are especially popular among advanced e‑cigarette users who want a more intense flavor experience and higher vapor production.

It feels complicated with coils.. Can you simply explain which one I should have?

No problem!

If you are new to e‑cigarettes and want a simple and reliable experience, then a regular, single‑wire coil is a good choice for you. Single‑wire coils provide a clean flavor profile and are usually easier to handle than other types of coils.

Choosing the ohm for my e‑cigarette coil then?

• If you want a milder vapor production and milder throat hit, choose a coil with a higher ohm rating (1.0 ohm or higher).
• If you want more vapor and more throat hit, choose a coil with a lower ohm rating (0.2 or lower).
• Everything in between is exactly in between, neither more to one side nor the other.

What is a pod?

There is also a wide range of resistances (ohm) to choose from to customize your vaping experience

Pre‑filled pod

A "prefilled pod" is a prefilled container used in pod systems or pod devices. This type of pod already contains e‑liquid (e‑juice) when purchased and does not need to be refilled by the user. Prefilled pods are simple and convenient to use because they are ready to use straight from the package.

These prefilled pods usually have a sealed container that holds the e‑liquid and an integrated coil (heating element) that heats the liquid. When the e‑liquid is depleted you simply discard the prefilled pod and purchase a new one if you wish to continue using the device.

Prefilled pods are popular among beginners and users who want a simple and hassle‑free vaping experience without having to worry about refilling e‑liquid or changing coils.

Should I choose a pod with a mesh coil or a standard coil?

Pod with mesh coil: A pod with a mesh coil uses a mesh‑coil, which is a type of heating element that has a structure in the form of a mesh or web. This structure can provide several advantages:

• Faster and more even heating: The mesh coil has a larger surface area compared to a standard coil, resulting in faster and more even heating of the e‑liquid. This can lead to an improved flavor experience.

• Heating: A standard coil also heats up, but perhaps not as quickly or evenly as a mesh coil due to its smaller surface area.

The choice between a pod with a mesh coil and a pod with a standard coil depends on personal preferences. What is a Mod?

A mod is the heart of your e‑cig. It is the mod that provides power to vaporize your e‑liquid. You attach the tank and mouthpiece to the mod. There are different types of mods, some require an external vape battery and some have one built‑in. More advanced and powerful mods require an external battery whereas more user‑friendly ones charge via USB‑C.

The difference between a Mod and a standard e‑cigarette

A "standard e‑cigarette" is usually a simple device with few adjustable settings, while an e‑cig mod is more advanced and allows the user to adjust factors such as power and temperature. With an e‑cig mod you can also swap or customize other parts of the device, for example tank & glass.

Cleaning

To clean your e‑cig mod, first disassemble the device. Then clean each part separately, avoiding getting electronic components wet. Wipe each part with a soft, dry cloth before reassembling it.

Batteries

Most e‑cig mods use rechargeable lithium‑ion batteries, which are the same type of batteries used in many other electronic devices. These batteries are known for their long lifespan and efficiency

Vozol Neon 800 2.0 Mesh is prefilled with 2 ml e‑liquid and provides up to approximately 800 puffs according to the manufacturer. The number of puffs varies with how long and dense draws you take, so how many days a device lasts depends entirely on your usage. When the e‑liquid starts to run out, the vapor becomes thinner and the flavor diminishes. Then the device is consumed and should be taken for recycling. See the product information on product page.

Vozol Neon 800 2.0 Mesh contains e-liquid with 20 mg/ml nicotine in the form of nicotine salt. It is the highest nicotine content allowed for e-liquid in Sweden and the EU. With us the model is only available in 20 mg/ml, i.e., no nicotine-free variant. What nicotine salt means is explained in What is nic salt in vape?. The product contains nicotine which is a highly addictive substance and is sold only to you who are 18 years old.

No. Vozol Neon 800 2.0 Mesh has an integrated non‑rechargeable battery that cannot be recharged, and the e‑liquid cannot be refilled. The device is delivered sealed and is used until the e‑liquid or battery is depleted. Do not attempt to open, recharge or refill the device. A spent device contains a battery and should be disposed of as electronic waste, see Where do I recycle my vape?.

Vozol Neon 800 2.0 Mesh is inhalation‑activated. There is no button and no settings: the device activates when you draw through the mouthpiece and turns off when you stop. Remove any protective seal before first use and take calm, short draws. Store the device dry at room temperature and out of reach of children and pets. Vozol Neon 800 2.0 Mesh is available from us in a large number of flavor variants, for example Menthol, Mr Blue, Watermelon Ice, Banana Ice, Blue Razz Lemonade, Cola Ice and Cream Tobacco. All variants have the same content: 2 ml e-liquid and 20 mg/ml nicotine. Choose a flavor on the product page so the current stock status for that specific variant is displayed. No. Vozol's international range includes disposable vapes and pod systems, while Cigge's current Vozol range consists of the disposable model Neon 800 2.0 Mesh.

Look for the marking mg/ml in the product description and the nicotine strength in the variant selection. For example, Vont Cube with nicotine is marked 20 mg/ml, while Vont Cube Nicotine‑Free and its variants are marked 0 mg. The flavour name does not indicate the nicotine content.

The product description and specifications on the product page show the model's liquid volume, nicotine content and technical details. The Frunk Bar Mesh, for example, has 2 ml e‑liquid, 20 mg/ml nicotine salt and a mesh coil. The full ingredient list is on the packaging's ingredient declaration.

No. The models Frunk Bar Mesh, N One Crystal Mesh, Vont Art and Vont Cube have a liquid reservoir and coil built into the disposable unit. You do not need separate pods or replacement coils for them.

For the Vaporesso XROS 5 Mini the manufacturer specifies 5 minutes after the first refill, so that the coil can become saturated with e‑liquid. For the Joyetech eGo Pod V2 Cigge’s product information states 10–15 minutes if the pod is new or dry.
