Vape accessories for charging, storage and mouthpieces
Accessories for e‑cigarettes have different functions. A battery charger charges loose batteries, a USB cable connects the equipment and a wall adapter provides power from an electrical outlet. The parts need to match the equipment they will be used with. The same connector type does not mean that all charging requirements are met.
| Accessory | Function | Check |
|---|---|---|
| External battery charger | Charges loose battery cells | Battery chemistry, format and allowed charging current |
| USB cable | Connects the device to the power source | Connectors and cable specifications |
| Wall adapter | Provides power from the outlet | Output voltage and device's charging requirements |
Battery chargers for e‑cigarettes with loose batteries
External chargers are available with different numbers of charging slots. Base it on the battery's format and chemistry as well as the charger’s manual. Also check which power source the charger requires. Information about protection functions and automatic adaptation applies to the individual model.
Technical specifications for Hohm School 4
Hohm School 4 is a charger for Li‑ion batteries with a nominal voltage of 3.6 or 3.7 V. The manufacturer states the following:
- Charging slots
- 4
- Connection
- USB-C
- Total charging current
- Maximum 4 A
- Battery chemistry
- Li‑ion
The charging current per slot depends on the battery and how the charger is used. The total rating of 4 A does not mean 4 A to each battery.
Differences between three battery chargers
| Model | Charging slots | Specified charging current |
|---|---|---|
| Hohm School UNO | 1 | Up to 2 A; requires suitable power source |
| Onyx Ohm | 2 | Up to 2 A total |
| Hohm School 4 | 4 | Up to 4 A total |
USB cables and adapters for e‑cigarettes
Check both the connector on the device and the connection to the adapter. Eleaf QC 3.0 USB cable is 1 meter long and has USB‑C with a Micro‑USB adapter. Eleaf’s wall adapter has a specified output of 5 V and 1 A. These specifications need to be compared with the charging requirements in the connected equipment’s manual.
Mouthpieces (drip tips), battery cases and bottle openers
A drip tip is a mouthpiece. 810 Driptip from Pimp My Vape has an 810 format. Check the tank’s specification and the mouthpiece’s design. An 810‑format drip tip does not automatically fit all tanks.
Hohmtech battery case is intended for batteries in the formats 18650, 20700 and 21700. The category also contains a bottle opener for e‑liquid bottles and nicshots.
Spare glass, battery wraps and tools for custom coils
Other types of accessories are spare glass for tanks and battery wraps, which are the battery’s outer insulating sheath. Cotton is used as wick material in build‑able RTA and RDA systems. Tools for coil building can include wire cutters, screwdriver, scissors and tweezers. Which parts and tools are needed depends on the construction. The information describes accessory types and does not imply that all are present in the current product list.
Spare parts for e‑cigarettes: tanks, coils and batteries
Base it on which part needs to be replaced. Model name, connection and technical specifications determine which spare parts are compatible.
Which part is it?
